Wimbledon is the oldest and most prestigious tennis tournament in the world. Held at the All England Lawn Tennis Club in southwest London, it is the only Grand Slam still played on grass. The combination of tradition, sporting excellence, and quintessentially British atmosphere makes Wimbledon a bucket-list experience. From the iconic Centre Court to the famous strawberries and cream, every aspect of Wimbledon is steeped in tradition. The queue (The Queue) for ground passes is itself a beloved institution β fans camp overnight for the chance to watch world-class tennis on the outer courts.
Wimbledon has a unique atmosphere unlike any other sporting event. The strict all-white dress code for players, the royal box, the perfectly manicured grass courts, and the respectful crowd create an almost reverential atmosphere. Yet it's also incredibly fun β the hill outside Centre Court becomes a massive outdoor party during big matches.
